Our Story

At Alpha Flooring, floor installation runs in the family. Though our Myrtle Beach flooring company was founded in 2015, the Martins family has been involved in the industry for generations. Over the years, we have mastered the trade and turned floor installation into an art form. From hardwood floors to granite, there’s nothing we can’t handle.

Company founder Elber Martins began his flooring journey managing a family member’s commercial flooring company in New York City. After completing projects for major clients, and working in iconic buildings like the New York Stock Exchange, Madison Square Garden, and the Plaza Hotel, he decided it was time to branch out on his own and headed south to Myrtle Beach.

In 2015, Elber founded Alpha along with his father. With this new company, the goal was to take the flooring knowledge learned from high-profile commercial clients and use it to provide premium-quality flooring options for homeowners in Myrtle Beach and the surrounding communities. Today, after numerous completed projects and satisfied customers, the company has its sights set on expanding this to the entire state of South Carolina through a fleet of mobile, virtual showrooms.
